Make It Monday 76 Bleach Stamping

This week's Make It Monday challenge is to stamp with bleach. I used Papertrey Canyon Clay, Harvest Gold and Kraft coloured cardstock. The flowers were all cut with Beautiful Blooms II dies and then the larger flowers were bleach stamped with an Argyle background stamp and the medium flowers were bleach stamped with the matching stamp from the Beautiful Blooms II stamp set. The bleach doesn't show well on the Harvest Gold but I still used it because the other two colours of carstock bleached to a gold colour.
I used a Script background stamp on the Canyon Clay card base and added a Vellum scallop circle that I had left over from another project. The leaves are the smallest leaf in the Rosie Posie stamp set. The bleached script shows really well through the Vellum so I didn't want to cover it all up. The sentiment is from Happy Hexagons.

Paper Players Tic Tac Toe

This week's Paper Players challenge was a Tic Tac Toe theme. I chose birthday, dry embossing and ribbon.
I wanted to make a layered bow and didn't have the right colour of ribbon, so I made some ribbon from deocorative paper. I hope it counts! Thanks for looking!

Case Study 101

I'm playing along again with this weeks Case Study. It was a challenge for me to stamp directly on to my cardstock but it looked so pretty on the inspiration photo (at the bottom on this post) I decided to be brave.
I used Papertrey Rosie Posie stamps and dies for the leaves and flowers. The butterflies are cut out from patterned paper.
This inspiration card left me wishing I had some doily stamps.
Thanks for looking!

Another ColourQ 147

I'm loving this week's Colour Q colours so much that I decided to do a second card. I've always loved pink at Christmas so I copied the Snowman card I made for the Paper Players.
I'll add a sentiment and some bling when I find my Snow Much Fun stamp. Hopefully it turns up before December! Thanks for looking!

Paper Players Christmas in July

The theme of the Paper Players sketch isn't Christmas but I told myself I would make at least one Christmas card this month. When I saw the sketch I knew it would work great with this snowman that I had already stamped. See the sketch below. Thanks for looking!

Make it Monday #75

For Papertrey Make It Monday #75, roll the die, here's what I rolled for the card: Sketch #4, Horizontal, Image Stamp Set: Button Boutique, Sentiment Stamp Set: Big & Bold Wishes, Colour Combo: Scarlett Jewel, Chocolate Chip & Spring Rain, Embellishments: Ribbon & Flowers.
Since most of the card on the sketch was CAS I didn't make a bow with the ribbon or add any extra flowers. I used mostly text from my image stamp set and used the image from the sentiment stamp set so that ended up being a little backwards! Thanks for looking.

Retro Sketches #20

Here's my card for the Retro Sketches #20 challenge. Most of this was done with paper scraps from my stash.
The flowers were cut with the Papertrey Beautiful Blooms dies and then I layered some dollar store flowers and some buttons on top.I like to emboss my flowers to give them some texture and bend the petals a little.
Thanks for looking!

Make It Monday #74

For Papertrey Make It Monday stamping on texture. Above are the two panels I made. I embossed them both with the Hexagon Cover Plate and used a script background stamp with Navy ink on the white cardstock and Fresh Snow ink and a stamp from the Lovely Layers stamp set on the blue.
The finished card has some decorative paper from my stash and a vellum flower cut with the Lovely Layers dies and topped with a Spring Rain Vintage Collection Button. The sentiment is from Happy Hexagons stamped on a scrap of grey cardstock that I cut with a nestie.
A little out of focus closeup LOL. Thanks for looking!

Make It Monday #73

For Papertrey Make It Monday 73. The challenge was to stamp on patterned paper. I stamped some of the images from Rosie Posie in Vintage Cream ink on to Enchanted Evening Bitty Dot paper.
Here is the finished card with more Rosie Posie die cut and stamped and layered on to a scalloped nestie die cut. Sentiment is from one of the labels sets. It doesn't show in the picture but I stamped a diamond background on to the to white oval and round  scallop die cuts in pale blue. Thanks for looking!
